Each mortar is cut from a single block of marble, so the veining is unique to your piece — no two are alike. The bowl is deep and gently curved for grinding herbs, spices and pastes, with a smooth interior that makes quick work of pestos and seasoning blends.
The hand-polished pestle has the heft to crush and grind without effort. It doubles as a handsome piece to leave out on the counter, and because it’s natural stone the pattern varies from one to the next.
