A knife is a long commitment, and we'd rather you made it without worry. If it isn't right, send it back within 100 days and we'll refund the product in full. No reasons needed.

If you're not completely satisfied for any reason, return your item within 100 days for a full product refund. It must come back in its original condition and packaging.
How a return works
Tell us first
Email info@oishya.com to say you'd like to return or exchange an item. We can't accept returns that haven't been arranged this way.
Send it back, tracked
Post it to our fulfilment address with a tracking number. For anything valuable, use a trackable service or insurance, as we can't be liable for a return lost in transit.
We inspect and confirm
Once it reaches us, we check the item and email you to confirm the return and whether the refund is approved.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within a few working days.

The detail worth knowing
Postage costs
If an item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, we refund your postage and arrange a replacement. Otherwise we refund the product cost. Either way, keep your postage receipt and send us a copy.
Condition & packaging
To be eligible, an item must come back unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
Exchanges
We replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need the same item swapped, email us and we'll sort it.
After 100 days
Past 100 days we can't offer a full refund or exchange, and any return is posted at your expense, unless it's a manufacturing fault, in which case we cover it.
Late or missing refunds
Refunds can take a little time to post. Check with your bank and card company first, and if it still hasn't arrived, email us and we'll chase it.
One exception: sharpening stones
Whetstones are fragile precision tools, so once a stone has left our facility we can't refund or exchange it, including for transit damage. Please inspect yours the moment it arrives. Any manufacturing defect must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos.
The lifetime guarantee
Our Sakai Kyuba and Seki Kyuba knife ranges, the wooden magnetic stand block and the wall-mounted magnetic rack are guaranteed for life. If a manufacturing or material defect ever functionally impairs one, we repair or replace it free of charge. With a set, we replace only the faulty knife.
What it covers
Defects in manufacturing and materials that affect how the knife or stand works. The things that are genuinely our fault, for as long as you own it.
What it doesn't
Normal wear, accidents or negligence; misuse such as knocks, drops or crushing; loss, theft or fire; and damage from improper storage.
