Why this linen
The cloth, and the hands that finished it.
- Crafted from heavyweight stone-washed 100% European linen, these natural beige tea towels combine functionality and style, featuring a beautiful embroidery of the Oishya crest (kamon) representing 3 bugeisha fans.
- The pre-washed linen is absorbent, quick-drying, and softened to a subtly weathered appearance, making it perfect for any kitchen task while staying fresher for longer thanks to linen’s natural anti-microbial properties.
- The set includes 6 generously sized tea towels, each measuring 27″ long x 18″ wide (68cm long x 46cm wide).
- Durably constructed, easy to care for, and designed to complement both modern and traditional kitchen décor.
A set of six heavyweight tea towels in stone-washed 100% European linen, natural beige, each embroidered with the Oishya kamon — three bugeisha fans.
The linen is pre-washed, so it’s absorbent and quick-drying from the first use, with the soft, subtly weathered hand that stone-washing gives it. Linen’s natural anti-microbial quality keeps the towels fresher for longer.
Generously sized at 68 x 46 cm (27″ x 18″) — enough to dry dishes, wipe down, or fold over an oven handle. They only get softer with each wash.

Where it is made
Orsha and Bełchatów. Two centuries of linen.
Orsha, in Belarus, is the heart of one of the regions that has supplied European linen for as long as European linen has existed. The mill there produces cloth that is denser, smoother and more refined than mass-market linen. We have been working with it for years.
The cloth then travels to Bełchatów, in central Poland, where our seamstress finishes every piece. She refuses mass production in a category that has almost surrendered to it. The hems are folded twice and stitched by hand.
Care, briefly
Linen wants almost nothing from you.
01.
Wash warm.
Up to 40 °C with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach — it weakens the fibres. The cloth softens with every wash and won’t shrink past the first one.
02.
Line-dry if you can.
It comes out of the dryer fine too, just less crisp. Line-drying gives the cloth more natural drape and a fresher smell.
03.
Iron only if you must.
Linen is meant to be slightly creased — that’s the look. If you want it pressed for a dinner, iron on low while still damp. Otherwise let it live with the wrinkles.
What you receive
